supporting the Crab Feed. The net income was around $11,500. The gross income
was $22,207. 339 tickets were sold and 315 dinners were served. Chris
estimated that we raised $2,000 more than a year ago at the Crab Feed. The
silent auction netted $4,500. Chris suggested that Durham Rotarians host a BBQ
at the Park for the Interact members to thank them for all the help they
provided at the Crab Feed.
President Ryan explained that the picture of the baby being feed a can of beer
that appeared in the “Rowel” was not his baby. The picture of the baby with its
grandmother was his baby.
