VISITING ROTARIANS & GUESTS
There were many guests
tonight and all were introduced. I am
not listing them here because I didn’t even attempt to make a list of them. Well, that is not entirely true. I did start and get a few names, but after
that it went too fast and there was too much noise in the room, so I gave up my
attempt.

Dave Mulqueeney,
who was in charge of festivities, presided over the remainder of the
party. Dave was assisted in putting on
the Christmas Party by his wife, Chris, K. R. Robertson, Dan Driscol and Dan Davies.
Jim Kirks made the arrangements for the Durham High School Symphonic
Orchestra. President Mike did close the
meeting, but, by then he had lost the Club Bell again. The
Durham High School Symphonic Orchestra played some beautiful music. Larry
Bradley then led the singing of Christmas Carols. Dave Mulqueeney presided over the auction of the three
centerpieces. One
included the bottle of wine the District Governor gave President Mike, which he
is supposed to bring to the convention in June.
Mike had to win the bidding on that one, which he did. |
