REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:

President Daryl asked that I put the following communication from the District Governor in the Rowel:

Hello Club Presidents, Secretaries and District Leaders:

We need your help. We are planning for a future District Conference, and we need Rotarian Feedback.

The District has contracted with ServiceQuality.US to conduct a survey because your opinion counts.

We ask you and every Rotarian you know, every Rotarian in your Club to take the survey.  Can you help us?

To take this brief survey, just go to:   http://rotary5160.2009.servicequality.us

Based on the results of the survey, we will go forth and find a location that meets as many of the criteria as possible.

Please pass this survey on to your Membership.  Sooner is better because we need to get started with the planning.

Thank you,

Laura Day, Lt. Gov for DG Stan Smalley.

Former member, Past President, Past District Governor, Ray Meighan thought we might be interested in this (Ray still likes to keep up with our club and gets the Rowel):

Richard Hotem, director of the Neighbor to Neighbor agency in Prescott Valley, accepts a check for $500 from John Thorne, president of the Prescott Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. The donation was from the proceeds of the SAR's annual ice cream social, an event that over the years has raised more than $7,000 for charities in the local area.

For you new members, Richard was a member, treasurer and a past president of our club for many years while Administrator of Enloe Hospital.
