VISITING ROTARIANS & GUESTS

Todd Kimmelshue, Mike Wacker, Bill Apger and Tom Knowles were asked to introduce the visiting Rotarians.

Introduced were none as we had no visiting Rotarians

Ged Andrusaitis was introduced as a guest, because the process of inducting him as a member has not proceeded.  Ged was formerly a member of the club, helps at the Harvest Festival and apparently wants to rejoin.

Other guests introduced (by Mike Wacker) were Bob and Gail Gaston, Jan Wacker and Dora Burke.

NEXT MEETING

NOW PAY ATTENTION TO THIS.  The next meeting is at  Mountain Mike’s Pizza at 1722 Mangrove Avenue, Chico  This is the first of two Monday night football meetings.  It is MONDAY night, not Tuesday.

REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Jane Ziad’s membership committee met this week and will be proceeding with a team contest.  They are developing a point system.  Teams will get points monthly for prospective member contacts and additional points for new members.  The team with the lowest points for the month will provide dessert to our meeting (I am not sure how that will work since the BCCC objects to bringing outside food in).

The teams are as follows:

Team One - Captain Roy Ellis. Members, Dar Meyer, Dan Davis, Steve Plume, Norm Larson, Jim Patterson, Dave Mulqueeney, and Glenn Pulliam.

Team Two - Captain Tod Kimmelshue. Members Steve Greenwood, Bruce Miller, Clint Goss, Daryl Polk, Dave Jessen and Joe Nock.

Team Three - Captain Mike Wacker. Members Chris Hatch,
Jen Liu, Kent , Jackson, Mike Crump, Jim Edwards, Jim Kirks and KR Robertson.

Team Four - Captain Jane Ziad. Members Bill Apger, Phil Price, Tom Knowles, Tom Vanella, Andy Farrar, and Bruce Norlie.

RECOGNITIONS

Mike Crump contributed $30 for missing the meeting at the Dump, which featured Crump Mountain.

Mike Wacker contributed $19 for his 19th Anniversary.  Bill Apger contributed the same amount for the Bear’s loss.

Dar Myer celebrated his birthday with a song from Todd Kimmelshue in which the whole club joined.  He contributed $10.

President Daryl passed around copies of The Forum, the Durham newspaper with an article written by Jim Patterson about the Harvest Festival.  He was assessed $10, although I am not sure why, since the article was to the Club’s benefit.

PROGRAM

Mike Wacker presented Anthony Watts, local weatherman, who has been studying various aspects of the data regarding global warming.  He presented a very interesting program.  Actually, two programs.
