Bill Apger,
the immediate Past President, conducted the demotion of President Andy
Farrar. Several members were asked to
comment on Andy’s presidency.
Phil Price pointed out
that just last week he had to volunteer $10 for his birthday because Andy
overlooked it in May (of course avoiding singing “Happy Birthday” alone to Bill

my birthday. (With a promise of immunity
from the incoming President) I pointed out that he also didn’t recognize me for
being in Cabo San Lucas on my birthday and in
Jim Patterson pointed out that during Andy’s presidency he had
moved us from the Durham Memorial Hall to the BCCC with a bar serving
alcohol. He suggested that Andy drove us
to drink. Jen Liu and Roy Ellis also had
comments. But

The gavel was then turned over to President Daryl Polk, who
adjourned the meeting.
